Family outing.

Today I finally managed to locate the Bearded titmouse (Panurus biarmicus). It is very rare in Northern Europe and apart from a few places in Southern England, only breeds in one location in Denmark. They were sitting in the reeds as we came walking. It was a group of 5 youngsters. I managed to take a couple of decent pictures. I thought the pictures were ruined, because the camera was set to manual, but after I came home, I managed to save them.

Apart from that, the Marsh Harrier (Circus aeruginosus) was busy, and the Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps cristatus) was swimming around with its chicks.

Most importantly, there were staggering amounts of tiny frogs. I have never seen so much life in one place. Wow!

I might possibly have seen an owl, but the pictures turned out really bad, so I can’t make a positive ID.
